Announcement: The Polka Dot Print Art Exhibit
IceberGallery is excited to partner with Downtown St John’s to host a pop-up art exhibit to showcase the talents within our network of artists!
The Polka Dot Print Art Exhibit will be located at 235 Water Street, St John’s, NL from Aug 11th-Aug 13th.

This year’s exhibit will be centered around the launch of a collaborative art piece, the Polka Dot Print. Artists were invited to create a piece of art onto a blank wood-round. This was open to any theme or art medium. A digital copy was created of each individual piece and edited together to form a polka-dot pattern. A limited number of prints are created and will serve as a fundraiser for
IceberGallery throughout the coming year.
The Art Exhibit will provide the public with the opportunity to view each individual piece from within the Polka Dot Print.
From Aug 11th-18th will be hosting an online silent auction where all pieces will be available for bid.
The funds generated from the online auction will be split 50/50 between the artist & IceberGallery.
Throughout the weekend-long Art Exhibit, we’ll be hosting several other opportunities.
- On Aug 11th from 6pm-9pm, IceberGallery will be hosting an Artist Meet/Greet. This is a time where all artists from the IceberGallery Artist Network (esp. participants in the exhibit) are invited to gather & experience the artistic expression & the art pieces created by like-minded individuals. This is open to the public & serves as a great time to gain perspective directly from the artist. There will be live music & refreshments/snacks.
- Within our exhibit there will be a pop-up table for participating artists to sell their work. This is specific to those participating in the exhibit.
- On Aug 12th from 11am-4pm IceberGallery will be hosting an Art Market. This will include 15 artists from the IceberGallery Artist Network. This will be an outdoor market located on the deck-space of 235 Water St (overlooking & accessible from Harbour Dr). A vendor/artist registration form will be posted on July 19th.
*Registration on a first-come-first-serve basis & will remain open until all spaces are filled.
